Year in Review, Part 1
Evan... at the beginning of the year. I think he changed the most this year, as far as looking more and more like a BOY, with no trace of baby left. Not a bit.
Of course, that doesn't mean we've given up all little boy activities. He was soooo excited for Ryan to come. We spent a lot of time pretending his bear was the baby.
And then...
A few weeks after Ryan was born, Evan turned SIX! Six years old. How nuts is that??? And can you believe how LITTLE Ryan looks?? Mark, well, he still looks the same. At least one of the boys in my life has decided not to give me a heart attack when I look back through pictures.
AND speaking of growing up... Kindergarten graduation. Did I mention he turned SIX???? In his words, "WHAT THE HECK??"
And THEN as if graduation from Kindergarten wasn't enough, he lost a tooth. In Montana. While I wasn't even THERE.
Oh, and Ryan figured out his hands. hehehe. I love that age of discovery. Before they really move around a lot, it's so easy to keep them entertained!
The summer went way to fast... lots of playing outside, lots of Friday Fun days (including this trip to the zoo with a good friend...
And lots and lots of cuddling at night and Evan reading bed time stories to Ryan.
And then the HORRIBLE day came. Evan's first day of REAL SCHOOL. Honestly? A FIRST GRADER??? Doesn't he know what he's doing to me? First he graduates kindergarten, then he looses a tooth, and THEN he has the NERVE to keep growing and go to FIRST GRADE???
I've been trying to post this for the last two weeks... and this is as far as I've gotten by the 11th of January... so I'm going to split it in two.
Part two will come... hopefully this weekend.
Have I mentioned the fact that EVAN IS GROWING UP WAY TO FAST??????
